Wagtails of The Wolds, Driffield

It was Jeds first Grooming experience. We first did a meet and greet which was a lovely experience for our sometimes grumpy dog. He and we really felt that the M&G was beneficial. From this we booked Jed in for a Groom WOW!!! We know he's a handsome Boy But How Dapper he looked. He was happy,relaxed and I knew that we had made the right decision on taking him to Wagtails. Louisa was so understanding and went through the process. She listened to what we wanted, and got him from the off. Jed loved his first experience and we will definitely be returning!!

What a great experience from start to finish! I’d never been to a groomers before and had no idea of what to expect - everything was explained really well on the phone when I called to book. Lots of assurances that they would go at my dogs pace, a 2 year old GSD who had also never been to the groomers before. Louisa was so friendly and immediately made me feel at ease when dropping Nala off, again explained everything really well. I really didn’t know how Nala would be throughout the groom and how easy she would make it but turns out she loved it and had a great time, even making a friend while there. A very happy girl was collected looking and smelling beautiful. She’s booked back in for a few months time and I’d highly recommend Wagtails to anyone!

This is the first time we visited this grooming place with our seven month old puppy and we are really happy with the results. Our first meeting was very thorough. We went through everything we wanted for our puppy and Louisa made us feel reassured, took her time explaining stuff in details and communicated with us very well. Our puppy came out looking extra cute with a bow - we are very pleased! 🤗 Before and after pics included ❤️

My bestest ever friend Barney a 6 year old MaltiPoo was due to have a groom, Wagtails of the wolds was recommended. We went yesterday 02/04/2026, i was so apprehensive for him i had no idea what to expect, Louisa met us, very friendly, Barney was very much at ease with her, Louisa went through every step of the whole process with me, which i found Professional, friendly, caring i had no problem in leaving Barney with Louisa. I got the call to go and collect him, when i saw him he looked amazing, I could'nt have been any happier, he looked absoutly beautiful.The little blue bow tie Louisa put on him was a lovely touch. This was Barneys first appointment, it certainly will not be the last, Barneys next appointment was booked before we left. My 21 month old Cockerdale, Milo went for his first proper groom today after several amateurish attempts by me to tidy up his scruffy coat, I thought I would let the professionals do it! Louisa was lovely and helpful when I rang to enquire about their services and explained fully what they offered and talked me through how it worked. She asks for a deposit up front which is fair enough as people could book and not turn up. Milo is a bit timid but friendly and I was a little worried he may not want to comply, but when we arrived for the appointment, Louisa discussed what I wanted the cut to look like and then scooped him up in her arms confidently and we left them to it. When I went back to pick Milo up, he looked gorgeous and and had even had a bit of social interaction with other doggie guests before home time. He seems to have enjoyed his 1st proper groom so am more than happy to recommend Wagtails of the Wolds and we have our next groom booked in!
